Nose Wheel Pant Paint Protection PPF
The nose wheel pant catches everything the nose tyre throws at it — grit, stone chips, and the scuffs that come with every tow and tie-down. This pre-cut 8 mil kit covers the nose face and both sides, so the leading surfaces take the abuse instead of the paint.
Check your wheel pant
The kit is pre-cut for the nose face and the left and right nose sides. Paint schemes and prior repairs vary — send us a photo if yours looks different and we'll confirm before you order.
Watch the install video →What the film actually does
8 mil of self-healing, optically clear urethane. It takes the chips and scuffs, then comes off cleanly when you want it gone.
Three pieces, not one
You get the nose piece plus left and right nose side pieces, all extended coverage — the film reaches past where a standard kit stops.
8 mil, not the thin stuff
A thick, durable barrier against stone chips, scratches, scuffs, and everyday handling — well beyond what a standard-gauge film absorbs.
Minor marks disappear with heat
Light scratches and swirl marks close up on their own with sun or warm water, so the nose keeps looking maintained rather than sandblasted.
Comes off cleanly
Crystal-clear so it doesn't change the look of the aircraft, and it resists yellowing, cracking, and peeling. Remove it later without damaging the paint underneath.
Wet-apply, squeegee, let it settle
Questions
Not sure it matches your wheel pant? Send us a photo and we'll confirm the fit before you spend anything.
No, but watch the how-to video first if you've never applied PPF. It's a wet application — the film floats on slip fluid until you squeegee it down, which is what makes it forgiving to position on a curved surface.
Almost certainly not. This film is breathable, so small bubbles and any milky haze from trapped fluid dissipate on their own over several days. Give it time before trying to lift and re-lay it.
Three pre-cut pieces: the nose face, plus left and right nose sides, all in the extended-coverage pattern.
No. It's designed to come off cleanly, and it resists the yellowing, cracking, and peeling that make cheap films difficult to remove later.
Any PPF slip solution works. We link the one we use on this page — it's inexpensive and makes positioning much easier than plain soapy water.
Lead time is currently 1–2 business days, with tracking when it leaves.
